1994: Pou Chien Technology was derived from Rubber Plastic R&D Center (RPC) founded by Pou Chen Corp. In 1994. RPC was established to enhance the research, development, application, and commercialization of the new sole materials. During the past few years, RPC had transferred injection molded EVA (IMEVA) technology and special functional soling materials to Pou Chen Group′s factories for mass production.
1997: RPC expanded into Chemical Material Development Center (CMDC) which became a SATRA member and it′s QA Lab. Was also accredited by SATRA. In the meanwhile, we had developed many functional soling materials which were successfully introduced to Brands to earn credits on Pou Chen Group.
2003: CMDC combined with Pou Chien Chemical to be Chemical Division/Pou Chien Technology. Pou Chien Technology was founded on developing and selling halogen-free flame retardant engineering plastic materials, low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin materials, and functional soling materials.
